Terms of Use
Last updated 29 June 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Breadsheet mobile application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the App except as permitted by law.
2. Your data and responsibility
Breadsheet stores your financial records on your device. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for safeguarding your device. The App is a personal budgeting tool. It does not provide financial, tax, investment, or legal advice, and you should not rely on it as such.
3. Free features and Breadsheet Pro
The App offers free features, including manual tracking, budgets, insights, multiple accounts, and CSV import and export, plus an optional paid upgrade,Breadsheet Pro, which removes the monthly limit on voice, receipt, and assistant features. Pro is offered as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
4. Subscriptions and auto-renewal
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store orGoogle Play account at the price shown at purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals, and the current period remains active until it ends.
- The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment and does not auto-renew.
- Payments are final except where a refund is required by law or granted by the app store under its policies. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us.
5. AI features
Voice entry, receipt scanning, and the assistant use AI to interpret the input you provide. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete, so you are responsible for reviewing transactions before saving them. Usage of these features may be subject to fair-use limits, which are higher on Pro.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, or to attempt to access data or systems you are not authorised to access.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its name, logo, and design are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes and termination
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.
